New Techniques in Contemporary Abstract Art

Abstract art has not only revolutionalised out way of seeing things - it has also added a variety of different production techniques over and above traditional techniques such as 'oil on canvas' or 'acrylic colours on canvas'.

This competition seeks innovative, new techniques by which you produce your abstract paintings. These can comprise mixed media, innovative materials, the use of machines or robots instead of your own hands when painting the work, blends of painting and printing techniques, etc. Your creativity is the limit.

The only hard criterion is that submissions must be abstract (i.e., figurative paintings and portraits are excluded).

Each participant can submit two paintings.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.
