Jamie's story is one of tragedy. After struggling with a deep depression, in October of 2012, Jamie took his own life. This drawing was a commissioned piece done in memory of Jamie for his family. In May of 2013 there was a benefit in Jamie's honor to promote suicide awareness. I hope that when this story is read the reader is reminded that depression is real. I also want my readers to be aware that although depression is real, there is help out there. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, please seek help.
