Images of Lent in Midwest America

The season of Lent has begun. It is a time of reflection, repentance, prayer, and self-denial in the Christian tradition. What images do you have to share, specifically from the Midwest, that fit this Lenten theme? Share your best images -- photography or art -- that focus on Lent in the Midwest.

1. Images of Lent only.

2. The Midwest location where the image was captured must be included. (The title, description or tag need to include the Midwest state -- Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.)

3. Family friendly (if images contain people, no nudes); no graffiti displayed.

4. Either photography or art for this contest.

5. Color, B&W, sepia, etc. are acceptable.

6. Images will be removed that do not fit the contest theme, including images not captured in the Midwest.

7. You are invited to join the MIDWEST AMERICA Group. Note the group's focus and guidelines.

Each participant may submit 5 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
