Contest Rules
September 26 is celebrated as the European day of Languages since 2001.
It would be interesting to see how many pieces of art that relate to LANGUAGE/S we have here on FAA.
Any media is fine.
The only rule is: Your image must show a LANGUAGE or LANGUAGES of some sort. Make sure: a language itself IN the pictures.
It must be family/workplace friendly, contain NO nudity, NO violence. If you think a nude body means body language- think twice. I agree that some art of that kind may be very tasteful but this contest is not for that kind of language. It is for Spoken (unspoken), Written or Sign language that could be taught to children at school of any age as well as to any adults of any social/religious and ethnic background. Thus, the art and LANGUAGE shown in your pictures must not offend anyone's and everyone's feelings.
I reserve the right to remove any images that will seem inapropriate or off topic.
To avoid misunderstandings and wrong judgement, I ENCOURAGE you to post a comment/explanation in the discussions area for your picture if it is not an obvious illustration of language or if the language in your picture is not English. The Day of languages is meant for learning languages. So let's HELP EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER.
3 images per artist.
