Crosses and Crucifixes in Midwest America

Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His death at Calvary. 'Jesus personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed.' (1 Peter 2:24 NIV) This week's contest focuses on CROSSES AND CRUCIFIXES IN MIDWEST AMERICA.

1. The image must show a cross or crucifix.

2. The image must have been captured/created in one of the 12 Midwest states -- Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. The state must be included in the tag, description or title.

3. Photography, paintings or drawings are included.

4. Family friendly: no nudity, no graffiti, no dark gothic image, no degradation of the cross.

5. Images will be removed without notice that do not fit the contest parameters.

6. No vote solicitation.

7. If you are not yet a member, you are invited to join the MIDWEST AMERICA Group. Note the group's focus and guidelines.

Each participant may submit 5 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
