Contest Rules

August Has Sunflowers Sunflowers grow wild along the roads and desert of New Mexico. They bloom anywhere from late June into late October but seem to peak in August. Let's brighten up the art world with some lovely sunflowers of all types and colors.

New Mexico Painting Group welcomes all entries of traditional artwork themed with sunflowers. If your sunflower artwork carries a southwestern US theme, that is wonderful; but, all sunflower artwork is welcome. Just not photography as we are a painters group.

The work must contain a sunflower. It cannot be an advertisement. And it must be family friendly.

Very sorry but NO PHOTOGRAPHY.

Submission Rules

Each participant may submit 3 images.

Voting Rules

1) Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2) You may only vote once per image.

3) You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
