American Patriotism Photography only

The Fourth of July or July Fourth, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain. This contest is to celebrate that holiday so images must have an American patriotic theme – Fourth of July fireworks, American flags, buildings such as state and federal capitols or other American government buildings, and statues such as war memorials. Images that do not fit into this theme will be removed.

I will choose 4- 6 of the top 10 to do special features on the group home page – “Landscape and Landmark Photography”. You do NOT have to be a member of the “Landscape and Landmark Photography” group to be eligible, however you are invited to join us. (The group is for photography ONLY)

Rules:
1. Any patriotic landscape as defined here - a section or expanse of rural scenery, usually extensive, that can be seen from a single viewpoint; a picture representing natural inland or coastal scenery (examples – fireworks, landscapes with American flags) (this is NOT for garden landscapes at a home, I want large vistas)
2. Any patriotic landmarks as defined here - an object or feature of a landscape or town that is easily seen and recognized from a distance, especially one that enables someone to establish their location.
3. Photographs only, no paintings.
4. Keep it family friendly – no nudity, violence, blood or gore.

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   You must be a member of FineArtAmerica.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
