Best Composition

I'm going to start the first contest with me being judge and jury and I'll explain why I made the selection for best image that day. I will select one each, a photograph and a painting image. I will select the best image for the photograph and best for the painting for the week. The two best images will post on Features every Friday. No other images will post on that day.

This will run for four (4) weeks starting the first Monday after this contest is posted. If it's posted on a Monday, the contest starts that day.

I will select the first two best images every Friday and on the fourth (4th) Friday I will post two winners.
Here's the fun...My choice will be based on the following:

1. The winning images (one a photograph, one a painting) will be in a room that has contemporary decor, large windows with a beautiful view of pine trees and other greenery.
The furniture is very classic cream color including sofa, love seat and high back chair with a large dark cherry wood oriental table (collectors item) in the center of the room.
The artwork will be put above the Pink Georgia marbled stone fireplace...a large artwork is needed and I love color but I also want a classic statement. Across the room is a three section glass and mirrored cabinet filled with Lladro Porcelain figurines. The floor is hardwood and has a large oriental floral design black and cream, with a dash of
rose in the center. The entire room is filled with collectables from around the world.

2. I am open to all styles - it has to talk to me. This is our first contest....let's do it.

3. I will request the two winners be included on any FAA awards they may give and the Group award will be: For each of the two winners, I will post your selection of seven images on Features on the last day of contest (fourth Friday). New members can join in on the action but will not be selected until Contest #2.

You can still reach out to your art friends and ask them for their input on what they think your best art selections are. Post any questions regarding this contest.

I have to upload an image to be able to post this contest ....I will upload a pic of Juliet, my little girl. She does not qualify. In fact, I'm not included in this contest.

Each participant may submit 1 image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
