Writing as a Career

Writing for a career choice isn't all that difficult if you are naturally talented, but just because you are a fantastic writer does not unfortunately guarantee you work. Part of the actual "work" of being a writer is finding the work itself! As more and more jobs are being done by computers, writing is one thing that only the human mind can produce. Creativity cannot be replicated in computer programs, and writers will never fully be replaced since the human mind itself cannot be replaced by computer or robot. If you work from home there are actually quite a few different options you could take in order to advance your career and portfolio. Do your research before you jump into anything to save yourself some trouble.
