Verifying Weebly Art Website On Google

Since last night, I have been trying to figure out how to verify my weebly website on google. It was the most difficult thing so far. If you are hosted by Weebly, I would recommend following their help files on this one. At first, because I couldn't find the relevant help files within weebly, I tried to follow the help files within Google's Webmaster Tools...big mistake. I watched this video about Google's Webmaster Tools about 5 times and in the end, I wanted to cry. The lady was trying to be so helpful...but I am an artist, not a webmaster.

What did I do in the end? Well, apparently, all I had to do was look a bit farther within Weebly's own site.

1. Go to Weebly homepage (where it lists your sites)
2. Click on Support (top right)
3. Scroll down to Stats & Search Engines (very bottom) and click on it
4. Click on Verify Your Site With Search Engines
5. And then do EXACTLY what is says...it will work
