UN Diptych Start Up

From the start, I conceived this as an abstract diptych, which I began on watercolor paper, knowing the purpose and mood of the end painting that I want to create. I neglected the photograph the watercolor step (my bad), but we'll pick it up here, where I've begun to lightly work in some acrylic.
