The portrait challenge.

for about 10 weeks ago I challenged myself to do one realistic portrait drawing a week. It has been fun so far. This week I have been working on a portrait that I find amusing. It's from a visit at the ZOO last year, when my son got thirsty. This time the challenge has been to reproduce the running water and the uneven shadowing of the face due to the sun.
