The Mysterious and Mystical Caddo Lake

Have you ever been out in nature, somewhere that touches your inner being, where you can sense the sublime, hear the spirit of nature and the spirits of early native man, whisper softly in your ear ? I have found that place not far from where I live, first introduced to me by my sister, when we rented a weekend cottage on the lake. This magical place is Caddo Lake, situated on the state borders of Texas and Louisiana. Its original inhabitants were the Caddo indians. Caddo lake is the largest living Cypress forest in the world. The most spectacular sunsets I have ever witnessed and photographed has been here.
