Michelangelo says "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it." I try to think of his work when I go out to shoot.
Not to compare my work to his, but to remind myself to find a different way of looking at my subjects. An angle that is different and unusual, to show my viewers a new way of looking at things. I try to show them something that they might not have seen had they viewed the subject on their own.
Is this image of the barn or the trees? Which is more important or do they take and equal share? Compliment each other perhaps?
I Would love to have you leave a comment on this image if you like.
