Terracotta Warriors - The Book

The Terracotta Warriors Project was a public art exhibition organized by the British Columbia Lions Society for Children with Disabilities. Local artists, in partnership with sponsors, created unique designs and apply them to the surface of seven foot custom formed fiberglass Terracotta Warriors. When the works were completed, the Terracotta Warriors were displayed in prominent public spaces around the Metro Vancouver Area. The book The Terracotta Warriors tells the story of the project and contains over 130 images of these 7-foot high works of art. There were over 30 painted terracotta warrior statues on display around the city. The Great Terracotta Warrior Public Art Project has now come to an end, the Warriors have gone up for auction and now have new homes. The auction raised $170,000 to benefit Easter Seals Programs and Services for children with disabilities in BC and the Yukon.
