Sunshine in the sunshine state

You may not know I'm a real solar light enthusiast! I have solar lights absolutely everywher! I noticed, in one of my solar light "globes," a lizard has taken up residence. He is so cute! As I took his picture, his nose is sticking out of the solar globe, but you can see his body and legs silhouetted, as the sunlight streams through the globe. I absolutely love all my lizards. I have a lizard house, too! (I'll post that tomorrow!) I purchased the lizard house from an artist friend of mine. It's ceramic and has a place for sticks inside for the lizards. Lizards love the sunshine so everywhere you look in Florida, (the "sunshine state"), you will see them basking in the sun, then scurrying for cover as you walk down you sidewalk or patio steps or wherever. They provide endless smiles for me because they are SO funny. They occasionally leap (leapin' lizards) from my wind chimes to my planters right in front of me as I'm passing by, so all I see is a lizard blur in front of my eyes! They hang upside down, right-side up, any way! Most of the fluorescent green lizards have died out as the "brown" lizards have taken over, but every once in a while, I'll see one of these bright green lizards. Not even my brilliant green acrylic paint can match the color of these amazing lizards! Well, just thought I'd share my lizard friend with you before I start my day:)
