Subodh Returns to New York and Seoul

Fine artist Subodh Maheshwari will be returning along with her artwork to the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in New York after 2 years absence. A selection of Subodh’s acrylic work will also be appearing in Seoul, South Korea after a 27 year absence. This will also mark the first time Subodh has shown her art in a gallery or show this year.

The artist herself will be appearing alongside her paintings at the Amsterdam Whitney Galley’s newest show – “A Mid-summer Night’s Dream” Ruthie Tucker, Executive Director of the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery stated,”Subodh is a contemporary master who bathes her artwork in glistening pools of saturated hues, capturing the ethereal beauty and timeless vitality of the world.” The Chelsea area is about to get some color!

“A Mid-summer Night’s Dream” will run from June 19th – August 4th. Sudodh, herself will be at the Gala Chamapgn Reception: Thursday, June 25th 2015 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York, NY.

About Artist Subodh Maheshwari:

Subodh Maheshwari lives and creates her art in Corona, California. Her artwork hangs in several public and private collections, including the Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, CA and Dr. Shyam and Dr. Sashi Parashar, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia. She has also performed artwork on commission for Hinduism Today Magazine, Kapaa, Hawaii; “Rangoli” installation piece for Newport Beach Art Gallery, Newport Beach, CA; and “Philosophy of Life” installation piece for Lancaster City Art Museum, Lancaster, CA. is currently on the faculty of Riverside City College where she teaches art to upcoming artists. Her personal art studio, “Subodh Fine Art Studio” in Corona, CA, engages the delight of art with students of all ages.
