Struck by cancer

Hello my dear fans and visitors.
As a lot of you already might know, I'm struck by cancer. An announcement that didn't came as a great surprise while I have been smoking for many years.
Some weeks ago I visited an exhibition of a friend and on my way home suddenly I couldn't breath anymore, with as result, within 20 minutes in the hospital.
After that everything went very fast. During the last 2 weeks I have had one examination after the other and cancer has been established in my right lung. Fortunately the tumor has not spread and with some luck I will only have to loose my left lung.
Probably within the next month I ll have surgery.
This doesn't mean, that I have to quit doing what I do, but for some time I have to recover from it all.

What I feel? Actually not much. I handle it with an unexpected calmness and laconic attitude towards everything. I cannot change the facts. I can only hope for skillful surgeons and an awful lot of luck.
I have a feeling, that there are still so many things I have to do. So many things to be said and so many artworks to create that I cannot stand with the thought of not surviving. Therefore I'm sure I will pull through this horrible ordeal.
I have a wife and two lovely dogs. I can and may not give up and I won't.
It's not over until the fat lady sings. And she's not gonna sing for a long time yet.
