Spark Hunt

The well is dry. It seems the muse has left me but is that all of it? Have I invited the muse to tea? Do I make sure to appreciate the beauty around me?

If I have don't those things then my artist soil is hard and dry. Every day, I must entice the muse by feeding it a steady diet of attention to the now, gratitude, and promise. I must promise that I am dedicated to art; that I hold it as important to me as eating and sleeping. Without such dedication why would I expect the muse to swing by only when I feel like letting it in. I need to be a gracious host who always is ready to allow it in. Well, I guess I know what I need to work on this year.
