Southern Crescent Limited 1916 Litho ties 3rd

Southern Crescent Limited 1916 Litho ties 3rd!!!

"Southern Crescent Limited 1916 Litho" . . . Southern Rail Road’s 'Crescent Limited' was a luxurious form of travel for its time. Two types of sleeping cars augmented by other specialty cars which included dining, smoking, observation and even library cars. Gas lighting and facilities with hot and cold running water gave the then-named, 'New York & New Orleans Limited', an air of elegance and refinement. Today the 'Crescent' still travels daily in a round trip from Pennsylvania Station in New York City to New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal in New Orleans, Louisiana. From an original 1916 photo by National Photo Company. All Rights Reserved © 2012 padre art . . .
