So This Is Christmas

So here we are again, ready to start the holidays once again.
Every year, we know it will arrive and yet it always catches us by surprise.

In past years my main focus has been to get the perfect gift for all my special someones and this year is no different.
Most of the time I ended up creating something special for them, in some form of an art piece.
Be that a portrait drawing, a framed photo, or a poem in their honor.
My Dad and brother are flying up to celebrate the holidays with me and my husband.
Celebration of family, and all that means to us, is the focus of Christmas this year.
Since losing my Mom last year, sharing conversations, memories.............and life are foremost in my mind.
I wish for all of you to experience the joy of sharing your thoughts, wishes and desires with someone you love.
Life is finite, however love lives on.

So enjoy the gift giving and receiving, but remember the best gift of all is your LOVE.
