Well I got my test film back from the Lab yesterday and it's a go, everything seems to be good, my balance between bright sun and shade seems to be a hair off so I'm using a 1 stop graduated filter to darken the sky just a hair. I put a Roll of expired color film in the Rollei and took Freedom for a walk, that is where I had a bit of a epiphany, people really respond to Freedom and his overall cuteness, he is a 7 pound strutting Mal-Shi, 1/2 Maltese and 1/2 Shih-tzu, just a beautiful dog with a lot of cuteness that seems to make people smile when they see him, I even had a gentleman drive up next to me and ask what kind of dog was he, saying he was the cutest dog he had ever seen, but that is just 1/2 of this epiphany, the other 1/2 is my Rolleicord, people see the Rollei and Freedom and are quite inquisitive and friendly, I've had people wave at me, point at us..anyways I think during my walks with Freedom I could convince a lot of people to pose for me, you know just a nice natural street shot.. so that is my goal, to photograph people around town and try to bring a smile and happiness to their faces.. wish me luck, whoever reads this stuff.... besides my body just can't handle the driving anymore and I love walking...footnote: Happy 40th Anniversary to my lovely bride Geneva.
