Rollerbalz

Hello friends. Last night was the opening reception of the annual ISU Undergraduate Show and Exhibition at the Davis Gallery on campus. It's kind of big deal for those of us in the program as it is a juried show where the Art Department awards scholarships and cash awards. The good news is my first major sculpture Rollerbalz was juried through and is on exhibit. The great and wholly unexpected news is that yours truly won the Ridgeline Studios Sculpture Award and received a small honorarium. Shout out to my ace fabricator David Isham, Kris and Abby for their unconditional love and support and of course my landlord Mr. Ted Sermon of Sermon Service and Electric for without whom this all would not be possible.
