Robins.. and lessons learned

Have you ever watched a Robin... I mean REALLY watched one?

They both walk and hop, and tilt their heads each time they stop. They consider, look, listen, hop/walk again.. tilt their head again. They look for the perfect Robin Delicacy... When they manage to seek one, they snatch it, then gobble it down, appreciate the morsel, and then look for the next one, looking this way and that.

As photographers.. the same applies..

We drive, hike, walk down shadowed alleys or spend hours arranging lighting in studios.. just looking for that perfect shot. We find it, shoot it, savor it, and then move on to find the next amazing taste... the next shot that will make our senses explode.

Each day brings the possibility of that great new shot... the one that makes yesterday look pale.
