Here’s my latest Collage project titled, "Paris is always a good idea." Essentially a “paper painting” with re-purposed magazines, print ads, labels, stamps, notes and other miscellaneous paper items that have been inked and lacquered. Using these nostalgic items and recycling them into wall art seems only natural, besides, all too often this stuff ends up in some local landfill.
Creating this original diptych, each 32″ w x 46″ h canvas was stretched & gallery wrapped onto a heavy duty frame. Pieces of paper were glued down then varnished. It’s a medium with a pretty cool result. Prints are available for sale as well as the originals on the “Services” page. Please feel free to leave comments or contact the studio for inquiries. I’ll post more details and other projects as time allows.
Thanks for your interest!
