PUBLISHED COVER 2014 NPS Annual Report

It was a pleasant surprise to be contacted by the National Park Service (NPS) about the use of one of my Bodie Island Lighthouse images for the cover of their FY 2013 annual report. As a government agency, this was a non-commissioned project; however, as I rely upon lands managed by the NPS for much of my livelihood, it was a no-brainer for me to participate in the project. The Denver Service Center managed the restoration efforts at Bodie Island Lighthouse, a considerable project that was completed in April of 2013, allowing visitors to once again access the landmark, climb the tower, and experience the Outer Banks of North Carolina from a new perspective!
