"Pirate, Merchant and Maiden 1848" . . . A vintage Ukiyo-e triptych portraying an action scene between the pirate, merchant and maiden. The pirate, Hakata Kojuro, is on board a ship and threatens the lovely maiden, Kezori Kuemon, with a large ax. The merchant, Komachiya Soshichi, is about to board the ship to save the maiden.
