Celebrating Culture, Character
and Confucius

February 21 to September 7, 2015

Take a trip to China – no passport required! Opening this February, Children's China transports visitors halfway across the globe to experience what life is like for children in China today – a country where timeless traditions endure amidst a modern lifestyle.

Ping Yan were invited as an aritsit for painting a serial of commitioned Chinese brush artworks for the exhibiton.
Experience six engaging and immersive settings that bring Chinese culture to life! Visitors will care for pandas in the panda reserve, participate in a Chinese New Year celebration with a Chinese dragon, explore a contemporary classroom, restaurant, park and more within this one-of-a-kind exhibit. Children's China integrates the time-honored teachings of Confucius, China's great teacher, with a focus on the importance of education and family values.

Created by The Magic House in partnership with the Confucius Institute at Webster University and Character Plus, Children's China is a nationally traveling exhibit designed to increase understanding of the Chinese culture. Plan your trip to China at The Magic House today!

Prepare for your visit to Children’s China by downloading “The League of Extraordinary Bloggers” – an app developed as a pre and post visit activity for families looking for a content rich, age-appropriate introduction to four Asian cultures.
