Repost from 2013
The Paint Creek Trail near my home was a railroad bed until the 1980s when it was repurposed for hiking, bicycling, fishing, etc. I like to walk (ride, jog, hop, skip) along the trail year round, but one day--October 1st, a pleasant if partly cloudy day--I brought a camera and took random snapshots along a mile and a half stretch. I selected 49 of the images (7 rows, 7 columns) and organized them according to subtle color-hue variations and--voila! a Paint Creek photo matrix entitled, "The First of October". Visit www.garypetersonart.com for more better details (and the odd grammatical faux pas).
(Note: FAA no longer auto-links external pages. It's up to you...)
