Ordi Calder Awarded with International Prize Marco Polo - Art Ambassador

Dear Ordí Calder,

I am very proud to award you with the International Prize Marco Polo - Art Ambassador.

The Prize is for the Artists that are worth for their artistic merit.

You will be awarded on September 25th, 2015, Inside the Marin Palace "Palazzo Marin", in Venice.

It is one of the most prestigious art awards awarded in the heart of Venice.

The important award will be given to a selected number of artistic personalities. Into the July/August magazine Effetto Artewill be realized several introductive pages dedicated to the city of Venice and its wonders, followed by the insertion of the participant artists.


Important celebrities from the world of culture will be present at the ceremony

and the talented artists will be awarded with an important prize for their careers.

The prize is dedicated to one of the most important Venetian personalities: Marco Polo

(Venice September 15th, 1254 – Venice January 8th, 1324) has been an Italian ambassador, writer, voyager and merchant. Author of the famous masterpiece ‘’Il Milione –The Travels of Marco Polo’’ and great art assayer.


The prize is given to those artists who has been chosen by Mr. Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo.
