Since I've just begun rethrowing my hat into the online gallery ring, here is what I have learned so far. Make sure when you start your research that you can sit on your computer for the entire day, and the next. When you find a gallery that you wish to join, simply getting your artwork ready to go online is incredibly time consuming. Even if you think you have it ready, you will find that there will be tweeking that needs done. Then there is the uploads themselves. Depending on how much you want to spread your art around will determine the amount of time it takes. Research. I have been watching and listening to youtube videos on how to market art online. YEars ago I did pretty good selling art on ebay. That's been over ten years ago. When the markets began to change, so did the art sales. So, now it's time to walk away from online and create some actual artowrk. Hard to sell it if your not making it...
