Not known, no sales.

Not known, no sales.
It doesn't matter. All those beautiful artworks will never sell, if your name doesn't constantly pops up among colleagues with high sales rates.
My work for that matter isn't attractive anymore for a long time. The only admiration that I've left are the likes of my friends on Facebook. It doesn't appeal the general public anymore. It's my craft. Being a photo artist. Sadly enough I am not innovating. Maybe still nice to look at, but dowdy and out of time and interest.
I guess I'm stuck in time and stopped appealing my public a long time ago. Art nowadays is produced with high end sophisticated technics and often has little to do with craftsmanship. People want nice looking cheap copies of madonnas and naval battles looking like originals on their walls just to show status. And then those thousand wave crests at dawn at Waikiki beach. Nausea making tasteless images that are sold by the superstores all over the country for less then the paper worth.
This society is build on the word CHEAP. Love and beauty has become second place. Cheap fakes have become art and visa versa. Pottering work of so called artists without any heart or inspiration. There is no Rembrandt or Michelangelo left and if there was, they probably wouldn't sell.

Maybe this post is a little over the top. But it makes you think about the degradation of art.

I'm afraid you are correct. If there was a camera in the days of the great masters, there would be no Mona Lisa, only faded photos in a shoe box of some guy named Da Vinci.

Times are changing and the internet has added good points but also changed the goal posts...your photographs are beautiful.
