I love capaldi and yeah, his dr is a bit of an arrogant dick but I think they are going somewhere with it... when clara asked danny how he became so wise he said he had a bad day and learned from it... since galifrey was never destroyed by the dr using the moment then he never had his "bad day" that he learned from and so is still the arrogant sob he must have been originally.

now we've all heard the rumors that clara is leaving and that the last ep will be her last and the last ep happens to be titled "death in heaven" I think they are going to give the dr a new bad day and his arrogance will get clara killed. it's not the first time he has left her in dangerous situations, now he has come back but what if he comes back a little too late after leaving her in a dangerous situation that finally she really can't handle.
