New commission

August 18, 2014. Two years and 3 months later since my last blog.
I'm in the Shawnee, Kansas studio starting another commission, one of three in a row. A few weeks ago "Happy Green Tree" was commissioned by a collector through Renee Taylor Gallery in Sedona. Last week I was working on the "Italian Cypress In Red" for a couple in Memphis, Tennessee and tonight I'm starting "Three Happy Green Trees" for a buyer in Brisbane, Australia through Leawood Fine Art here in Kansas City. Business is good. This time of year always get busy for me.
The commissions have taken the focus off of searching for new gallery representation. I will be adding another gallery or two to get my work in some new markets. I started the search three weeks ago, got a few responses from my email artist gallery submissions, however, no new representation. I will continue with the search in a few days. I'm looking in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Palm Desert, Santa Fe and Naples to start.
Tomorrow I need to look for some key green pastels needed to complete the "Three Happy Green Trees".
