Had a lovely productive day in my studio shop, I finished the detailing on four more silk paintings. One is of another of New Zealand's famous Muriwai gannets, another of a vibrant floral display, the third which is of grape vines with a stunning view and the fourth is of my birth flower- the poppy. Now I just have to find a little patience while I wait for a chance to get down to my local framing company in between working in the shop, dealing with my teenagers and running the house :)
We've now had two glorious days of sunshine which has been so nice after being such a chilly, wet and gloomy winter here in NZ so I set about rearranging the studio, framing up two new silks and began on my next artwork based on a view though the kitchen window of the rolling hills of New Zealand, it's been an interesting start and I can't wait to get back in the studio tomorrow to add more gutta to the initial design......
