My New Found Passion

Well this is my first blog on this site. Not my first blog entry though as I have been blogging for years, but thought I would say a few things on here as well as my other blogging sites. The Image of this blog is indicative of my love of my new hobby (and hopefully lucrative at some level, "passion". There is this connection between me, my camera and our wonderful Creator when i venture out into God's beautiful countryside. My pictures are all in and around central Illinois, so far. What amazes me is the beauty God placed all around us, if you just open your eyes (and remove that lens cap). It has become a way for me to connect with God in a way that is rewarding as well as fun. While I have always been drawn to the creative side of life, having studied TV/Radio Production back in the mid 80's, I never thought for a second I would find such joy in digital photography. It just goes to show you, no matter how old you are, I'm 51, you can find something in your life that clicks and allows you to experience such delight.
