My Facebook Artist Group The International Artist Forum

At the freshly established International Artist Forum buyers,fans,friends, and artists may fellowship freely with one another.
The group is open to anyone with an interest in art, no matter what your medium.
I established the forum b/c I wanted artists to be proactive about their own careers, I knew that waiting around for agents and such to help them out was (for many) an utter waste of time.

I hope that International Artist Forum helps artists from all walks of life find success, in art it is not about just finding an audience, it's about finding THE RIGHT audience. If you have a million people say "we like your work but we don't need it" then ultimately what good does that do you?

Wanting to be successful as an artist is a respectable goal, never let anyone tell you that you are a "sell out" just b/c you rather succeed than starve.

True fans won't just PROFESS to be interested in your work, they will be active participants in helping you thrive, whether it be by helping get your work out to the masses, or buying a few pieces themselves...they will understand that you work as hard as any other person, and that that work really counts for something.

Too many people look down on art as a professional endeavour, but without art, the beauty would fade, the world would be a much darker place.
If a person understands just how important art's contribution is to the world, they'll have much greater respect for the artist.
