My American Indians

I painted this Chief Last Week from an 1900s Post Card. I am satisfied that this power and humanity shines thru. I wanted to bring him back to life a little.
The picture was taken while that society at the time viewed the American Indians as sub-human.
He is the forth so far in the series.
