More work, more miles, more skylines

I'm typically a pretty busy guy with a full-time job, a small, home-based business, and my photography hobby taking up all my time. Recently, I took on another challenge that has doubled my workload and requires a lot of travel. The hidden bonus to all that travel is access to new places to photograph!

Just after the first of the year, I made a roadtrip to Columbus, Ohio. My wife and the pups went along. My workload and the incredible wind chills that week (35 below) kept us from doing much but we explored enough to see that Columbus--America's 15th largest city--has a lot to offer. Their Christmas light display along the Scioto river was very impressive. This shot is a detail from that area. Columbus got snow while we were there--the first the pups had ever seen. They loved it, and the snow gave me more to work with when I was shooting.
