Minnesota Wild & Free x Three May 29 - July 11, 2015

Jaques Art Center, 121 2nd Street, Aitkin, MN 56431, Open Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 4 pm
www.jaquesart.com 218-927-2363 info@jaquesart.com

This watermedia exhibit is by three artists who love to paint the nuances and spirit of the Minnesota's landscapes, flowers and animals.

Kathy Braud, Kerry Kupferschmidt and Dan Mondloch all paint in watermedia (watercolor, gouache and acrylics), but they all have distinctly different styles and approaches. All three are members of the Central Minnesota Watercolorists group in St. Cloud MN. Hope you can come visit this beautiful display and see what brings these longtime painters together, what makes each of their work unique, and learn about what inspires them to paint. Each artist has been able to display a large assortment of new works and the presentation is very nice.

Dan gave a wonderful landscape demo during the opening reception. Our art work is very similar in colors and style but each artists' work is very unique.
“This project was made possible by a grant provided by the Five Wings Art Council with funds from the McKnight Foundation.” in regards to my grant.
Right now, the gallery is singing with color and the visitors have enjoyed it ever so much!

I have 16 paintings on display and many now on display in the lovely Jaques Gallery which are making their debute into the art world. Most are newly framed in gold metal, non scratch plexi-glass. and double matted.

Paintings also displayed and currently on my website at Fine Art America are:

Dandy Puff
Rose Cluster Half
September Storm Lake Superior
Sunflowers on the Rise
Fish Tales ( aka Fish Series 09-2)
Golden Arrangement
Forest Scene

Tuesday, July 14, the Minnesota Wild and Free x Three exhibit will come down and Aitkin is 125 miles round trip for pick up. The Jaques Gallery was beautiful and showcased our artwork display event ever so nicely. Thank you, Minnesota, for this artshow opportunity, as this project was made possible for me by a grant provided by the Five Wings Art Council with funds from the McKnight Foundation. I am grateful I was able to extend my art viewing out of my normal public viewing areas.
