Memories Past and Future

Just the other day I was flipping through the pages of my Artist’s portfolio. I came across one of my favorite paintings of his which instantly brought back fond memories of my three boys and the times we spent on the beach. It brings tears of joy to my eyes as I type this, remembering their sweet little faces, brightly colored buckets and shovels, burying each other in the sand and making the biggest sand mountains in the world! Who cares that our cabin was filled with sand at the end of the day and I had to struggle to get them in the bath tub to wash it from their ears and noses! These were precious times that warm my heart.

Looking at the painting also filled me with excitement as I wait impatiently for the birth of my first grandbaby! It’s a girl! Eloise will be arriving in a few weeks and I can’t wait to finally meet her. I am hoping I can enjoy precious times with her at the beach as well and experience the true joy, only a child can bring.

All this emotion from one incredible painting! My Artist is amazing!
