Make the Best It

Today's photos are taken from inside the house of the tree in the field. It's amazing how well it works to take them through what's not a spic and span window. I also tried to do some from my car in B&W. It seems so stripped down in the street now that I've been taking pictures lately. What did we do to our garden of eden. Nothing I'm proud of. But nothing I can stop either. Real Estate is killing so much habitat around here. Everywhere you go, trees are torn down and shredded to make way for more buildings to work or live in, in a pace that will be underwater all too soon. But at the end of a tough day, driving through a brutal rain storm, there was the BCNH posed ont he fence at the busy intersection in FM. I only saw the babies as drove away. I came back three times to get those photos of the kids. None really turned out. It was a thrill to see them so mature and far along. Gave me hope, but hurt my heart to think how tomorrow another building will break ground over there, and here. Florida is being eaten alive the the REDollar. It's just sad. - 3c
