Loyalty

Friendships, are often forsaken,& forgotten.. taken for granted, no relationship is perfect, I know that I've taken our special friendship and neglected it , it's been tainted by the lies, & foolishness to believe in others, when the only one who I should of stayed steadfast in my belief to ,was you, .. I failed you, & lately ,you ask me, why do I seem different, .. truth be told, it's not cause I'm upset at you, it's cause ,I'm disappointed in myself, to the point of being ashamed for my careless ways, I've taken something so beautiful & special & sabotaged it, when all you've ever been with me is true,a giver, & loyal, I'm sitting here with most compassion, & sorrow, & hope that you can if nothing at all , at least understand me, I may not be worthy for your forgiveness , but please know that , I would give my right hand that I paint with , without hesitations, to get what we once had, my friend.
