You don't see many 1930's Chevy's around, either at car shows or abandoned, or even sitting on display in a collection as the 1937 Chevrolet flatbed truck was that I based this painting on. It was one of those unusual finds in the middle of a suburban neighborhood, a collection of old vehicles sitting out by a mock vintage gas station. Luckily it was all visible from the sidewalk so I took many photos. This painting is the only one I've done so far from those photos. For the painting I eliminated the "suburban" from the background and made it look like it was on a ranch or a farm. David King Studio
