This painting is the first in series of two paintings, I painted in two consecutive days. The other painting is called “Africa”.
In this painting, I wanted to deviate from an “all over” abstract style, by giving space to more of breathing room on the canvas.
I used very thin glaze of blue to cover almost half of the canvas. On the other half, I painted with different brush sizes.
I used cold colors to create a calm and soothing mode. I intentionally, let the light blue drip to add to the feeling of continually cooling down the surface of the painting.
