"Lick Observatory 1902" . . . A vintage colorized photograph of the Lick Observatory on Mount Hamilton east of San Jose, California. The observatory houses the original Lick telescope (57 feet long, diameter of object glass is 36 inches with a total weight of 40 tons) and is run by the University of California.
