Having reactivated my account here, I now truly regret that I don't have better quality photos of many of my earlier paintings, but I started painting long before the existence of the digital camera. Taking good photos was very hit and miss and expensive cameras were just that expensive. For years I was mystified by the fact that my photos always came back with a yellow cast on them. I always thought this was due to something I was doing wrong, until I met someone in a lab who informed me that the guys who were developing must be using dirty chemicals which was giving the photo a yellow cast.
Its now relatively easy to buy a good quality digital camera and at last have control over quality and resolution.
