Journal at Two Months end of July 2015

This one I will make short and sweet, mostly because I am doing it belatedly while preparing to write my third month blog. At two months, I was still floating on the high of being recognized by my peers and beaming with joy at my numbers. Views were at an amazing amount, I believe it was nearing 10,000. Comments were sporadic but consistently positive, and I find I continued to learn voraciously. There is so much to learn and there is no end! I am delighted. Unfortunately, my growth and learning will soon expand into areas other than art techniques and I discover that artists are also humans, and are therefore fallible. I am sorry about this, but at least I finally recognize it for what it is, and I choose not to run away in disappointment. This perhaps is the greatest change I have made in years.
The artwork Heliconia featured with this blog is the last of my floras for some time. I'll explain that more in the next blog.
