Just posted a finished picture of a mixed bag of sea gulls and sandpipers foraging on the beach and in the tidal pools. One is very different--
obviously "she ain't from around here"--that's what they say here in Carolina. She wants to have some food and make some friends. The sandpipers are stand-offish--they hang out solo or in groups of 2 to 4. The other gulls look more promising. Birds are more human than we think. We need to
embrace diversity. Make friends with someone of a different culture--learn their customs, try their native foods. Share your culture. We have much to learn from each other. And you will have a richer fuller life.
