Inspire

starting January 2009, i have been working on a series i have named "Inspire".

these are 11x14 acrylic works.

i have donated several to Pets Alive - a no-kill shelter in New York - and i plan to leave others in the series at random places for people to take for free if they wish.

i learned of someone leaving small paintings all over the world for people to take for free, the only catch is that you have to promise to smile more at people. Smile Project i believe it is called, by Bren Bataclan.

what a fantastic thing to do! not to mention a great way to get media coverage and exposure!

with that thought in place, and inspiration from what others have done and continue to do, i decided to start my Inspire series.
